Friends:
I am interested in learning about depression as an observed phenomenon in any
classes you teach or administer. If it is there, has your knowledge has been
achieved by hunch, intake info, personal communication, or any other way?
What do you see, hear, observe? What do you assume is characteristic of
depressed individuals?
Also, does anyone out there have experience with using the arts as an
intervention in cases of depression? Why? What do you expect your students
to gain? Is this the case?
Do you use other techniques to raise depression?
Your facts, impressions, hunches will be very useful to me as a piece of a
project I am working on.
I know that literacy students ALSO INCLUDE the developmentally delayed. I
don't want to leave any students or teachers out.
Thanks.
