NLA Discussion: Five Year Plans

	As State Directors of Adult Education head to Washington next week
to discuss creation of Five Year Plans, I thought it would be useful for us
to use this forum to discuss how our different states are proceeding.

	One of the most difficult areas I am having right now is finding
demographic information for our state of Arizona dealing with projections
and trends of the adult basic ed. population over the next five years. Does
anyone have any suggestions as to where I might look?

	Also what major issues and concerns are you including in your plans?
How are you going about collecting data and input?

	This should prove to a creative and exciting process for us all.
