NLA Invitation: Other Voices

NLA Colleagues,

This is an invitation to those who haven't posted a message to the list in
a while (or ever) to think about it. For example, you could raise an
issue which hasn't come up, or share a point of view which hasn't been
heard. Maybe you have a literacy and public policy-related question,
concern or problem which hasn't been given enough attention here.

Maybe you subscribe to the NLA list to learn about the field - let's
hear from you -- what are your thoughts based on what we discuss here?

If you work in another field, or if you are in this field but not a
teacher, shed some light on the issues here from your perspective. Let us
hear from those who see adult literacy policy issues through other lenses,
for example from policy makers or policy-implementors, health educators,
librarians, employment counselors, adult learners and others.

Let us hear from residents of countries other than the U.S., or from
people who work on literacy and ESOL/EFL issues in countries other than
the U.S. How do the adult literacy public policy issues in the U.S.
compare with those in the country where you live and work?
