Valorie and others, Adult Ed practitioners are hungry for honest insight into
their practice from their peers, experts who can speak their language and
peers who have taken a leadership role in their regions. In N.Y.S. we are
in the peer review phase of our effort to raise standards for K to adult
educators and learners. Finding the right mix of theory, practitioner
examples and sharing is one way of carrying out successful professional
development for the field.
