NLA'ers,

Thirty years ago today, Robert F. Kennedy was assassinated.

In an editorial in the June 1st NY Times, Anthony Lewis describes how Mr.
Kennedy visited South Africa in 1966, when apartheid was at its height.
He spoke at the University of Cape Town, and his words had an
extraordinary impact. Here is what he said:

"Each time a man stands up for an ideal, or acts to improve the lot of
others, or strikes out against injustice, he sends forth a tiny ripple of
hope. And crossing each other from a million different centers of energy
and daring, those ripples build a current which can sweep down the
mightiest walls of oppression."

Best wishes,

Paul Jurmo
