I hate to interupt the good discussion on LD, but I was wondering if anyone
has utilized the AMES (Adult Measures of Essential Skills) test? It is put
out by Steck-Vaughn and claims to be a battery of authentic assessments of
workplace and basic skills. It claims to cover many of the SCANS basic
skills and competencies as well as measuring the NALS categories of Prose,
Document, and Quantitative Literacy. I am curious if anyone has any
thoughts about this tool.
Thanks
