Tom,
And how wonderful it is for me to be able to read and understand this
great message. Something I couldn't do 12 years ago. I too will
CELEBRATE!! As I do every time I look at notes on my desk and signs on the
street.
Last year our literacy program Celebrated Literacy Day by asking
people to turn the TV off between 7:00-8:00pm and read. We collected over
700 signatures for this. Which means we contacted this many people and
talked to them about our Literacy Program.
We will be doing this again this year.
To tutors and learners who work quitely across the country, you are the
Heros of the literacy field.
Have a good Summer everyone. May we all return with renew hearts and
spirits as we continue to move forward with funding or no funding.
Have a good trip David and eat a coconut for for me!
Happy anniversary Tom!
