I'm in the final stages of editing a book on the National Adult Literacy
Survey; most of the chapters pertain to various secondary analyses of the
data; contributors include folks like Dick Venezky, Irwin Kirsch, Stephen
Reder, Susan Vogel, Alice Johnson, and Jeremy Finn, among others.

No, this isn't a plug for the book.

I'm working on a chapter myself and I'm interested in knowing how (and if)
others (particularly practitioners, literacy education program directors,
and policymakers) have used the data/findings from the NALS to inform
practice. What sort of impact do you think the NALS has had on adult ed
policy and literacy education practices?
