John LaWare Leadership Forum: Status of Massachusetts' Community Colleges
November 18

A special John LaWare Leadership Forum will be held on Friday, November 18, 2011 from 8:30 am - 10:30 am at the Boston Federal Reserve Bank that will feature the release of an important new report on the status of Massachusetts' community colleges and the role they play in meeting workforce needs of the Commonwealth.

The keynote speech will be given by Dr. Glen DuBois, Chancellor of Virginia's Community College system and a renowned expert in creating the kind of alignment that is required between institutions of public higher education and the economic needs of the Knowledge Economy. A panel of experts from higher education, business, workforce and public sectors will respond to Dr. DuBois' remarks and will be followed by an open conversation.

Founded in 2005, the John LaWare Leadership Forum is a flexible civic mechanism that informs and convenes Greater Boston's business and civic leaders to respond to the region's competitiveness challenges and opportunities.

A continental breakfast will be served at 8 am.

Important notes: A valid government-issued photo ID is required to enter the Federal Reserve Bank. For directions to the Bank and a list of nearby public parking facilities, please go to the website at http://www.bostonfed.org/about/directions.htm.<http://r20.rs6.net/tn.jsp?llr=z5tkt7cab&et=1108536396204&s=155&e=0015v4b0qmy0J6Oq8c49u_3m9SHxwcrei7MxwFb0bm-3mMIO9yn1W0xQDLEFDSPtZdYmdw0gc2f-FqSOjadS5_95jV8sqJNu2aEHa-zEDytAS9LtuBrrQI90kDWuXyLrF_FqwbNqcKlY1WCF8DRtqy93FWdwUJfBwYynffIdp6z_5EjPAa64Y08h8mx6mUBrql9UtQWXw4N3Q07lSPGsphNmsIhKLsfY0Nho8ANTVh7Gx9UHmoVh9GeN-K5AXFz5xbF4xEeWdB5GkfHReCpEqaV5VJRUEQyOhy90UP5qLAntYO5bYysA7Uejw40bJTHMPe64zwqHu3D_nyQ5KDXF988JTjYIo5gwyVYbIyUeeZUvcx1NVCAy7KQ_MBD6FaeH5VVjv3AeFzIboUi7yeuNj5_Bw==>
