Dear Colleagues,
Please check out this exciting opportunity offered by MCAE this summer:
***
MCAE is holding an in-depth workshop for ABE programs regarding how local programs and MCAE can more effectively use the media to highlight the positive impact of adult basic education in your local community and statewide.
Date: Thursday July 22, 2010
Time: 10am - 3pm
Location: ALRI/Greater Boston SABES, UMASS Boston
Wheatley Hall, Room 04-167, Boston, MA
For directions and parking information please visit http://sabes.org/boston/directions/
The workshop will be led by Miriam Zoll an author, researcher, teacher and strategic communications consultant with more than 20 years of experience. Ms. Zoll's background as an award-winning journalist enables her to provide local ABE programs and MCAE with insight about how we can cultivate newsworthy stories and public education campaigns that influence decision-makers, the media and, ultimately, public policy.
