Position open for ESOL Teacher:

*	Level 2 class
*	12 week program: Jan. 26 - April 15, 2010
*	Tues. & Thurs., 6:00 - 8:30pm

 

This Massachusetts Department for Early Education and Care funded
program is offered to Peabody parents of pre-schoolers and elementary
school children.

 

Qualifications:

*	Bachelors degree
*	Experience teaching adult ESOL classes
*	Ability to adapt teaching styles and materials to meet students'
needs
*	Excellent oral and written communication skills

 

Responsibilities:

*	Administer student assessments
*	Align curriculum with ABE Frameworks
*	Maintain student attendance records
*	Report to ABE Director
*	Select and develop appropriate materials for class use with
particular attention to parent/child communication
*	Provide input or participate in program development activities

 

Salary:  $22.50/ hr. (7.5 hrs/wk)
