We have rescheduled the "Using the Curriculum Frameworks to Develop
Program-wide Curriculum" workshop.  

 

Session 1 will now take place on Thursday,  April 17th from 4:30-8:30pm,
and 

 

Session 2 will be held on Thursday, May 15th from 4:30-6:00pm.

 

Both sessions will be held at NECC in Lawrence.

 

I hope that this timing will work better for you and that you will plan
to attend.

Dear Colleagues,

 

It has been several months since you attended the "Developing
Program-wide Curriculum" workshop with Andrea O'Brien here at NECC and
since then the SABES Curriculum and Assessment Coordinators have been
hard at work, with ACLS, developing this NEW SABES training - "Using the
Curriculum Frameworks to Develop Program-wide Curriculum".  Although
there are similarities between these two workshops, information has been
added that will enable you and your staff to more effectively and easily
incorporate the curriculum frameworks into your curriculum development
process. 

 

This workshop will assist you to continue to evolve your curriculum
development process, whether or not you have been making progress with
the process that Andrea outlined.  The workshop will be facilitated by
Carey Reid, Merilee Freeman and Janet Piracha, and with their combined
experience, this is an opportunity that is sure to elevate the level of
your curriculum planning process. It will also provide you with the
opportunity to generate draft materials (both action plan and curriculum
documents), share materials with fellow participants, and critique them
for revision.

 

The workshop will be held on Thursday, March 26, 2008 at NECC Lawrence
from 4:30-8:30pm.
