Dear Colleagues,
Please register for the following workshop!
How Can We Get More People to Pass The GED Test
With evidence abounding that a worker in Massachusetts must have at
least some post-secondary education to earn a family-sustaining wage,
the GED diploma is a vital door-opener for those 700,000 Massachusetts
adults who do not have a high school credential. Intended for GED
program directors, curriculum planners, and classroom teachers, this
presentation will lay out practical steps for creating a successful
pre-GED and GED curriculum. Special attention will be given to the
specific skill sets necessary to perform well in each of the five GED
subject areas, with emphasis on the GED math test.
This workshop is being held on Wednesday, February 20, 2008 from
4:00pm-6:00pm at NE SABES
