Dear ABE Directors and Coordinators;

 

Don't miss this exciting new workshop entitled How to Communicate with
Businesses to Promote Your ABE Services to be held on 10/3/07 and
10/10/07.  This two-part workshop is designed to equip ABE Program
Directors and Coordinators with the tools and strategies to effectively
communicate with businesses to benefit their ABE program, learners and
the community.  If you are thinking of applying for a DOE Workplace
Education grant this year and don't know where to begin, or if you just
want to develop better communications with the business sector, this
workshop is the place to start!  Session one will be interactive,
hands-on and full of tried and true methods of promoting your services.
Session two will give you first-hand information from a panel of experts
in developing education and business collaboratives.

 

This workshop is also the first in a PDP-granting series of work-based
education workshops and will be followed by a 2-part, 6-hour training in
"How to Conduct a Workplace Needs Analysis" to be conducted by the
Massachusetts Worker Education Roundtable in January.  You are welcomed,
however, to attend either of the two workshops, independent of the
other, if you are not interested in gaining PDP's.
