[Nesabes] Worker Rights, Health and Safety - NE SABES Summer Workshop for Practitioners

Dear ABE & ESOL Practitioner,

Most students in our ABE and ESOL classes are working and are unaware of
the laws that govern the workplace and which provide them with rights at
work.  The Worker Rights, Health and Safety workshop, to be held this
summer (8/14 and 8/16), will give you a head start on developing
important and pertinent lesson plans for your Fall classes.  This 2-part
workshop, facilitated by representatives of the U-Mass Labor Extension
Program, will give you vital information on the laws that govern
workplace issues that your students may encounter and will help you to
assist them in developing solutions.  Please see the attached flyer for
