[Mwa] Workforce Development Action Alert on the Senate Budget!

Hello MWA listserve:
Workforce development did not fare well in the Senate Ways and Means budget! Please call your State Senator today and ask him/her to co-sponsor the amendments below, all of which seek to restore funding to levels closer to the current fiscal year budget. The amendments will be debated on Wednesday and Thursday so make your calls soon!
Amendment #5 (Senator McGee) $3 million to fund the Workforce Competitiveness Trust Fund
Amendment #326 (Senator Baddour) $32.5 million for ABE and ESOL funding (level funding from last year)
Amendment #452 (Senator Hart) $7,129,687 for School to Career Connecting Activities
Amendment #296 (Senator McGee) $6,000,000 for One-Stop Career Centers
