[MCAEnews] MCAE Award Nominations deadline extended to September 26

[The MCAE Advocate]

 We are extending the deadline to submit nominations for MCAE Awards.
We will be accepting nominations for MCAE Awards through Friday,
September 26.
 Every year, MCAE asks our membership to nominate for recognition
individuals and organizations that exemplify excellence and commitment
to Adult Basic Education. Please consider submitting a nomination in
one of the following categories: Student, Volunteer, Teacher (or
Counselor), Administrator, Business and Labor Partner, Improving
Working Conditions, and Special Recognition.
 Even though we can only select one winner in each category, it is an
honor to be nominated. The nomination forms are attached. You can
return the completed form electronically to KTamarkin at mcae.net or by
mail to MCAE, 6 Beacon Street, Suite 415, Boston, MA 02118.
 The deadline for nominations has been extended to September 26,
2008. Winners will be notified by October 8, 2008 and announced at the
Network 2008 Conference on October 22 & 23 at the Royal Best Western
Hotel in Marlborough.
