[MCAEnews] Last Readiness Project Forum in Framingham June 2 - Governor will be there

 Hi MCAE Member and Supporter,
 The final forum for the Readiness Project will be on Monday, June 2
at 6 pm at Framingham State College in the Athletic Center. Governor
Deval Patrick will be attending, as will Commissioner of Education
Paul Reville and Education Advisor Dana Mohler-Faria. This will be our
last opportunity to address the Governor directly about the importance
of ABE and its need to be directly addressed by the Readiness Project.
 I urge you to attend this meeting. Details are below. Please let me

 Dear Friends, 
 Over the past eight months, the Governor and the members of the 
 Readiness Project have traveled the Commonwealth holding town
meetings 
 to solicit input on how to create a true, 21st-century education 
 system right here in Massachusetts. At these forums, we've heard
great 
 ideas from parents, teachers, students, superintendents, other 
 educators, and people who understand just how critical education is
to 
 our great Commonwealth. Their input has been invaluable. 
 As the Governor and his team pull together their final
recommendations

 we are holding one final forum, to make sure we know what you have 
 been hearing in your local community. 
 Governor Patrick will be joined by Paul Reville, our Education 
 Secretary designee, and Dana Mohler-Faria, Education Advisor, as

 as members of the Readiness Project. The Governor will lead the 
 meeting with an update on the Readiness Project, followed by
questions 
 and discussion with the meeting attendees. 
 This final Town Hall will be at Framingham State College in the 
 Athletic Center on June 2nd at 6:00 PM. We hope you will come and
