 Hi MCAE members and supporters,
 The Fair Labor Division of the Attorney General's Office has asked
for your help in finding workers owed money from a settlement with
Labor Ready, a large  day laborer temp agency with offices around the
state.  Since many of the workers are non-English speakers, it is
possible that some of your current or former students might be owed
money. More details are below.

  Dear MCAE member, 
 The Attorney General's Office is requesting your help.  We are
trying to find thousands of workers owed money from a settlement with
Labor Ready, a day laborer temp agency with offices around the state. 
We believe that some of your students may be among those owed money. 
 People who worked for Labor Ready in Massachusetts during 2000 or
2001 may be owed a check.  They can call the Fair Labor Hotline, 9am
to 5pm, Monday - Friday, at 617-727-3465 to find out if they are owed
money.  We can receive calls in Spanish, Portuguese and Haitian
Creole. 
 Attached is a flyer in English, Spanish, Portuguese and Haitian
Creole.  Please consider posting it in your reception area, making
announcements to your students and handing out flyers in your classes.
