[Mcaegrassroots] Discussion Question: Business and Labor relations?

 Hi Public Policy Point People-
 A growing emphasis of MCAE's work is developing stronger
relationships between our adult ed. programs and business and labor
leaders. There are many strong existing partnerships and it's our
sense that there are even more than we realize. We would like to
identify some leaders who could be called upon to testify on behalf of
the need our programs fill; it's great to speak up for ourselves, but
it's often even more effective when someone else can speak up for us. 
 It would be great if people could take a moment to think about the
following questions and post your responses to the whole list in order
to start a discussion:
 *What existing relationships does your program have with local
businesses and labor leaders?
 *How have you established these relationships?
 *If you do not have any existing relationships, do you have any
thoughts about why not? Any thoughts about how MCAE could support the
development of these relationships?
