[Mcaegrassroots] Fwd: Town Hall Meeting with Governor Patrick

 Hi Program Point Person. 
 I just sent the following message to the MCAENews listserv. For
those of you who can, especially those who are not that far from
Westfield, I would urge you to attend this Town Hall Meeting. It is
appropriate to bring staff and students to this event. If you and/or
others in your program are planning to attend this meeting, please let
Luc Schuster know at lschuster at mcae.net. If possible, please get back
to us by the end of the evening on February 26 (We realize that most
of your programs are closed for the February vacation next week.) 
 I hope that those of you in the Western Region can match the turnout
that we had in Brockton last month. At that meeting we were at least
three quarters of the audience and asked about three quarters of the
questions.

 I urge you to plan on attending the February 27 Town Hall Meeting
with Governor Deval Patrick and Dr. Dana Mohler-Faria at Westfield
State College. They need to hear about the importance of Adult Basic
Education. We need to hear from them where ABE fits in the new
restructuring of the Department of Education.
