 Dear Point People:
 I wanted to follow-up on yesterday's Alert and restate our revised
reporting back model. Since MCAE now has me on as a staff person to
help coordinate our collective advocacy efforts, we think it makes
sense to ask Point People to report back directly to me at MCAE,
rather than using the Regional Coordinators as middle people. We will
be discussing this change in more detail at our Public Policy
Committee meeting this Friday and we will be back in touch with you
after that with more details about the revised roles of Point People
and Regional Coordinators, but for now please gather info from your
program-level advocacy and report this back directly to me.
 Also, another tweak we've added is a new number ranking system to
help standardize the reports we receive back. Please report to me
(lschuster at mcae.net) the following information:
 *  your program's name
 *  your state representative's name
 * rate the response from the representative using this scale:
1 = made a definite commitment to include ABE in his/her budget
request to House Ways and Means as you asked
2 = favorable toward request, but no definite commitment
3 = neutral
4 = opposed to the request; will definitely not support it
 Thanks so much. Let's go get ABE on those Wish Lists!
