[Icvv] Introduction from Canada

Hello from Simcoe, Ontario, Canada,

I teach in a small community near the shores of Lake Erie. This year the 
class is grade 4 and 5 students and we are very interested in finding 
out about other communities. We have very diverse interests in our 
class, and we would like to develop some sort of online space with other 
classes. This could include some writings, drawings, or even some share 
work, where students at each site contribute to a common piece of work.
This area of Canada is very much dominated by the Great Lakes. They 
moderate the extreme temperatures that could happen, and bring a lot 
more precipitation and humidity than we would have otherwise. This makes 
for interesting weather and generally a fun place to live.
We hope you would like to work with us on a great cross-cultural 
collaboration.
