[Icvv] International Classroom Virtual Visit

Dear Colleagues,

     My name is Kathleen Slattery and I teach at a large adult school in
Salinas, California.  My students are mostly from Mexico and they work in
the fields or packing sheds cutting lettuce, broccoli, green onion, and
picking tomatoes and strawberries.  We also have a few students from other
countries.  Their education ranges from none to professionals.  I teach
two classes, a morning Intermediate Low ESL class and an afternoon
Beginning High/Intermediate Low ESL class.  Right now we have about 50
students in the morning and 25 in the afternoon.  Most of the students 
computer skills basic.  They've only recently gotten school e-mail
accounts.

   I'd like to pair with an adult class in another state or country of the
same level.  

   For some reason when I've sent this introduction to ICVV it hasn't
gotten through.  I hope this time it will.
