ICVV Colleagues,

Susan has updated the database of teachers/classes who have matched
themselves, and whose projects are under way. You will find the
database at:

http://www.otan.us/webfarm/emailproject/database3.htm

Please let us know how your project is going.

If you need any help. you can reach us at Susan: sgaer at yahoo. com or

I recently learned of a free web site where several people can draw
something together. Students could meet in real time -- if it were
possible to schedule this -- and they could chat -- and draw
something together. For example, suppose students were asked to draw
something which represented for them:

1. Love of a family member
2. A good job
3. Something they wanted to learn to do
4. Something scary

First, each student could go to the site, draw something, and save
the drawing. Then students from both sites could save their drawings
and send them to students at the other site to discuss.

Then the teachers could schedule a time where a student from each
site could meet online and draw something together.

As some of you know, we have set up a wiki for this project, and you
can make your own pages there and set up your own account. It is
located at

We have many other exciting new activities to try this year:

• Wikimapia-ing your community
* Mobile phone access to web pages (thanks to Barry Burkett!)
• Writing a "how-to" article for wikiHow

and, of course, community discussions, movie discussions, class
newspaper article exchange, and whatever else you and your students
choose to do.

Check out the Activities page on the ICVV Wiki at http://seedwiki.com/

All the best,

David
