-I have hear about blogs but have never used them. It
might be a nice way to start our communication with
our partners. Bern could you help us learn how to get
a blog. I think we will need one for each set of
partners.
Also, I will be participating this year as well as
faciilitating. I am volunteering at a special needs
school and we will have two classes participating. One
will be elementary/middle school age and the other
high school age. The kids are all special needs with
learning/dicipline problems and the majority come from
lower income families. Although many of them are
native speakers of English, they all have language and
learning problems. I won't be meeting the students
until October so I would need to start after that. I
will give a more detailed description of the groups
after I meet them.
I would like to hook up one class with James Backer if
possible.
