[GLCnews] listservs update

Hello everyone,

I know that there are some people out there who are
registered on this listserv, but are mostly interested
in meeting updates and other important information. In
the past, some people have unregistered from the this
listserv because there was too much e-mail. 

Well, we don't want to lose you. We want to continue
to tell you about meetings and important actions. And
for that reason, the GLC now has two e-mail listservs
(GLC and GLCnews):

GLC at lists.literacytent.org will continue to send mail
to those people who are interested in reading and
writing details about organizing, sharing information,
planning meetings and going into detail about the
GLC's work. This list may have 10 messages a week.

GLCnews at lists.literacytent.org should be used only for
meeting updates and _important_ GLC information. This
should not be used for forwarding other types of
literacy information. There should only be a few
e-mails a month on this list.

Everyone who was on the GLC listserv is now registered
on GLCnews listserv. If you are someone who would like
to know only about meeting times and not all the other
details, please e-mail me and I will remove you from
the main GLC list.
