[GLC] Visit by Student Leaders

Dear friends,

The following letter is being sent out to encourage
student leader visits to programs around the city.


The Grassroots Literacy Coalition has been working
for increased classes, programs and funding for adult
education in New York City.  We have been focusing on
adult student leadership and the development of
student committees to push for needed changes.

Student leaders are visiting programs to speak with other
students and encourage their participation and active
leadership.  We would like to arrange a visit to your program
by two or three of these leaders.

Students in our programs can play a central role
in expanding and developing literacy programs in our city. 
  Please let us know if a visit can be arranged.
