Dear Friends and Colleague:
Looking Back and Moving Forward
Greetings! The GLC has been there for you when you needed it the most, and we will be there for you in the future when you need us. So, now we need your input and suggestions for the GLC. Therefore, we would be honored to have you as our special guest at the Grassroots Literacy Coalition Board Meeting to hear your ideas for its future. Please come help us to shape a vision for Grassroots Literacy Coalition. The meeting will be held on Thursday, March 23rd, 2006 at 4:00 P.M. The meeting will take place be the Clearinghouse of the Literacy Assistance Center - 32 Broadway, 10th Floors, New York City.
Literacy rights and students leadership are the Grassroots Literacy Coalitions focus and goals. Since it was founded in 1990s, the GLC mission has there to support and promote the most effective Adult Education programs that work for all (students, teachers and administers). Together, we can make Adult Education the priority that it needs to be.
