[GLC] Workshop on Leadership

Dear Friends,

I wanted to extend a special invitation to you,
to a workshop that Calvin Miles and I are facilitating 
at the Literacy Assistance Center.

The Workshop is "Popular Education: Civic Leadership and Student Engagement"

It will be held this Friday, January 20th, from 1:30-4:30 PM
at LAC - 32 Broadway, 10th Floor

It will explore how to facilitate the growth of student leaders while helping students develop their language and literacy skills. Specifically, examining ways in which students can effectively create, present and communicate messages to different audiences.
