[GLC] Adult Education Bill of Rights intro. City Council

Dear friends,

     We hope that you are all well.   On Monday, we received notice that
the New York Bill of Rights for Adult Education would be introduced
into City Council today, February 1st at 12:30 PM.    A group of people,
students and teachers will be there to support the bill, which is being 
introduced by Letitia James.  

    We urge you and all people in the literacy community to contact
your city council representative today, and push them to fight for passage
of the Bill of Rights.   

    On February 16th (Thursday), at 4:30 PM we will be demonstrating
our support for the Bill of Rights on the steps of City Hall.   Please, plan
to join us and bring students, teachers and other supporters.
