<html><div style='background-color:'><DIV>Hello, everyone,</DIV>
<DIV>Next week, Friday September 6th, I will not be here, as I am going to a friend's daughter's wedding in Virginia. Some of you are working on projects, but if you are between tasks and looking for something interesting to write, you might get some ideas from this link that Eric put up for us:</DIV>

<DIV>There are lots of ideas, and the last link, suggestions on how to write a letter to a politician, is a good one this month. Next month are the primary elections, and after that, in November, the actual elections, so politicians will be interested in hearing from you, and they should be receptive to your requests. Try to identify a bill or a law or an issue that you want some politician to take action on, and write to him or her about this issue. </DIV>

<DIV>I'll see you in two weeks, and will look forward to reading whatever you are writing. You can get to me on email in the meanwhile. </DIV>
