1. "Writing with Confidence" Strategies to Motivate Students
This workshop will provide creative ideas to motivate your students to
write with less fear. After finding topics to write about, a rubric
will be used to help the teachers to guide their students through a more
successful writing process.

2. Wimba Orientation
As a result of this orientation participants will become familiar with
the capabilities of Wimba including how to set up your computer for
participation in Wimba Sessions.
Attendance at one session is required to participate in Wimba. You may
attend as may times as you wish.

4. ESOL: A TOOLKIT FOR SUCCESS
Participants can select and choose the modules they wish to attend. We
strongly recommend that all participants attend the first session.
Introduction to Basics
An introduction to the basics of teaching non-native English speakers
including lesson plan development, strategies to integrate listening,
speaking, reading and writing, and understanding the difference between
learning a language and acquiring language.

work group....and a learning group.
