You may have recently seen a company named LinkedIn
<http://www.linkedin.com/>  making headlines in the news and wondered what
the buzz is all about.  LinkedIn is a thriving online meeting place for
professionals from around the world.  Although LinkedIn is not as big as
Monster.com, it isn’t far behind and its prospects of late are soaring.
Here are some interesting facts about LinkedIn from its website.

·         As of March 31, 2012, LinkedIn operates the world’s largest
professional network on the Internet with 161 million members in over 200
countries and territories.

·         LinkedIn members did nearly 4.2 billion professionally-oriented
searches on the platform in 2011 and are on pace to surpass 5.3 billion in
2012.

·         Headquartered in Mountain View, Calif., LinkedIn also has U.S.
offices in Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, Omaha and San Francisco.
International LinkedIn offices are located in Amsterdam, Bangalore, Delhi,
Dublin, Hong Kong, London, Madrid, Melbourne, Milan, Mumbai, Munich, Paris,
Perth, São Paulo, Singapore, Stockholm, Sydney, Tokyo and Toronto.

·         LinkedIn is currently available in seventeen languages: English,
Czech, Dutch, French, German, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Malay,
Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Spanish, Swedish and Turkish.
