[Bestplus] $$ Compensation for Trainers

I am happy to announce that we have completed calculations 
and appropriations to fully compensate you for the work you 
have and will perform during the roll-out of BEST Plus.  Thank 
you for your patience.

The SABES regional offices, in consultation with ACLS, is 
committed to paying each trainer $1,680 for the TOT 
(Trainer of Trainers) activities that will culminate in a CAL TOT
certificate. These activities include:

** Attending the 2-day TOT (Mar 11 and 12, 2004)
** Administering 20 practice BEST Plus assessments and 
    sending score    file to CAL
** Providing to CAL a videotape of 2 of these practice tests
** Observing a full BEST Plus workshop and completing a 
    TOT Observation Form
** Co-training a BEST Plus Workshop
** Scoring (and passing)the CAL video in order to provide 
     inter-rater reliability.

Once you are certified, SABES will contract with you to 
provide BEST Plus training workshops to practitioners. 
Trainers will receive $450 for every SABES-sanctioned 
workshop. This amount will cover the 6 hour workshop 
and provide for 3 hours of prep time. Other workshop 
duties regarding  attendance, evaluations, and registrations 
will be discussed in more detail with the SABES curriculum 
and assessment coordinator(CAC) in your respective regions.

with your regional SABES CAC. If you previously contracted 
with ACLS during the BEST Plus pilot phase and you have 
questions regarding the change in compensation please
