Subject: Explore Ice Worlds with NASA and LPI!

Greetings friends!

The International Polar Year - IPY - is here! Officially, IPY extends
from March 2007 to March 2009.

We are pleased to announce release of the latest module, Explore Ice
Worlds: On Earth and Beyond
(http://www.lpi.usra.edu/education/explore/ice/activities/
<http://www.lpi.usra.edu/education/explore/ice/activities/> ).

We invite you to participate in three free Web casts to learn about
current polar research from NASA scientists, to get answers to your
questions, and to explore hands-on activities designed for the library
and after-school setting.

By participating in the Web casts you will receive a certificate for
four professional development hours and be eligible for drawings for
space science resources and vouchers for $200 of materials for your own
IPY programs.

To register for the Web casts (below), or if you have any questions,
please contact Katy Buckaloo at buckaloo at lpi.usra.edu or 281-486-2109;
she will provide the access number and pass code.

To join us all you need is an Internet connection (easiest with the
Explore browser) and a telephone. Connecting is easy - really - and
we're here to help you do so!

Sign up now!

Invite your colleagues to join us! Gather some of the materials and
participate!

We look forward to Exploring Ice Worlds with you!

Stephanie, Becky, and Katy
