ATTENTION ALL ABE EDUCATORS

 

SABES announces the third and fourth workshop in the four series ASE
Teacher's Group Training and Sharing Sessions. For those who attended
Michele Bahr's Algebra I workshop you know how engaging it was.  

 

Now Michele will present "Tackling the Tough Stuff", a science workshop
series for ABE instructors.  During these two workshops Michele will
take you out of this world and bring you back in this course of two
dynamic science sessions.   You will explore the elements of science
through simple, hands on activities designed to increase your
understanding of key scientific concepts and your ability to convey what
you learned to your students.  

 

Michele is an excellent presenter, her handouts are fabulous and all who
participate leave with a wealth of knowledge on the subject.  In
addition, you can bring your newly acquired scientific knowledge back to
the classroom and use it right away.  

 

If you have shied away from science this is the perfect opportunity to
relax, learn and enjoy the wonders of science with an expert who will
make science fun.  Or if it's science you're interested in take this
opportunity to develop new methods to bring science to your learners.
