[Abesoutheast] Sharing Our Thoughts 2008 participation

Dear Directors, Coordinators and Teachers:

 

We're gearing up for the Sharing Our Thoughts project and are soliciting
participation and providing preparation material for you to consider in
your programs and classes.  In addition to student writings, we are
recruiting selection committee members (student and teacher teams) to
engage in evaluating and recommending writing samples for the final
publication.  This is a great opportunity for students and teachers to
work together in a unique, instructional way.  If interested in
participating in SOT activity, please proceed as follows:

 

      1.   Interested in participating in the Selection Committee? (we
need 5 student/teacher teams)

 

Please contact Mev Miller asap @mev.miller at bristolcc.edu.  THE DEADLINE
TO INDICATE INTEREST IS 12/14/07.  Please see the attached "WANTED"
flyer and 2008 Sharing Our Thoughts Writer's Checklist for more
information.  Contact Mev Miller as soon as possible per below.

 

 

2.  Interested in submitting student writings?  The deadline is March 7
(please mark your calendars)  Please see the attached Sharing Our
Thoughts : New Writings Wanted for 2008 flyer, submission form and
Information for Teachers and Program Administrators guide.
