[Abesoutheast] Sharing Our Thoughts 2008 participation

Dear Directors, Coordinators and Teachers:

 

We're gearing up for the Sharing Our Thoughts project and are soliciting
participation and providing preparation material for you to consider in
your programs and classes.  In addition to student writings, we are
recruiting selection committee members to engage in evaluating and
recommending writing samples for the final publication.  This is a great
opportunity for students and teachers to work together in a unique,
instructional way.  Please see the attached for specifics.

 

Also, SABES will offer a workshop on building lessons from previous
Sharing Our Thoughts publications in January.  Participants will learn
ways to integrate issues of Sharing Our Thoughts for many lessons
connected to reading, writing, and leadership and will further assist in
getting going with student writing for publication.
