[Abesoutheast] Prep Conference 2007!

Hi all:

 

Thanks for your patience while we finalized our plans for Prep
conference 2007 to be held at New Bedford High School on April 26 from
4:30 - 8:30.  We sincerely hope that you and your students will consider
attending this wonderful event that will allow all to bring valuable
learning back to programs.  Why not consider holding your class at the
Prep conference!    

 

It is also our goal to entertain you through drama, dance
demonstrations, music and food!

 

The Prep conference also offers the following opportunities:

 

*	Staff can meet professional development requirements
*	A student leadership initiative can be launched at your program
as a result of student training at the conference
*	Students can make up class hours missed at your program
*	Programs can make up class time missed/scheduled to be missed
for varying reasons
*	Students and staff can network with others from the southeast
region

 

We would especially appreciate student and staff donations of
multicultural items for our display area.  These could include (but are
not limited to :

 

Photos

Jewelry

Artwork

Clothing

 

If you or your student(s) have any of these items to contribute, please
contact me (Nancy Sheridan, as per below) as soon as possible and I
would be happy to assist in facilitating the collection and display
process.
