[Abesoutheast] Need ESOL Teachers in Quincy for Beginner evening classes

Quincy Community Action Programs, Inc., (QCAP) has immediate openings
for ESOL teachers in the evenings.  Classes are Beginner level (SPL 0-2
and SPL 3-4) and will meet Mon-Wed and Tues-Thurs from 6PM to 9PM
starting February 5th and ending June 7th.  Hourly rate is between $18
and $19.50, depending on experience and education; teachers will be paid
10 hours/week for each class (6 hours teaching/3 hours prep/1 hour
student follow-up) and it is possible to combine M/W and T/Th classes
for a total of 20 hours/week.

 

Qualifications:  minimum of three years experience teaching ESOL to
adults from diverse backgrounds, preferably at the beginner level; BA
required, MA preferred; experience teaching in DOE-funded program and
certification in BESTPlus and/or REEP strongly preferred.
