[Abesoutheast] soliciting cultural display items for the 4/26 PREP conference

Hi all:

 

As we previously announced, we are planning a multicultural display at
the upcoming PREP conference: 

 

 

 

 

We are, however in need of items that people are willing to lend us for
this display.  We all know we've seen beautiful cultural items that our
students and sometimes staff have brought to class during program events
or otherwise. In my experience at the program level I've seen a
Vietnamese wedding gown with pictures of the wedding, Russian porcelain
eggs, various foreign currencies and Brazilian jewelry.  Perhaps your
staff or students would be willing to lend us such items for the
display?  

 

Or maybe your staff would consider doing this as an in class project and
then lend the products (posters, collections) to us for display at the
conference.  Students/staff do not have to attend the conference to
participate.  And I am happy to coordinate the collection and return of
display items to your program (and will keep them very safe while
they're in SABES' possession.)

 

Any ideas for this display are welcomed.
