[Abesoutheast] Math Anxiety in ABE

Hi all:

 

Many times as an ABE/ESOL instructor or literacy tutor we see our role
as largely language teacher, not incorporating math concepts into our
instruction, although we know are students are interested in it, and
need it.  To address this topic, the volunteer share group here at SABES
SE is sponsoring a workshop on Math Anxiety on Wed. May 9 here from 1-3.


 

Come and engage in a stimulating discussion on this important topic and
learn about ways you can weave math education into your instruction in
concrete and fun ways.

 

ABE AND VOLUNTEER PROGRAM STAFF ARE WELCOMED TO ATTEND!
