Training Dates

for

New State House Event Spring 2007

The extraordinary help & support of former and current adult learners
from various parts of the state for the successful State House event in
May of 2006 has brought additional funding from the Hyams Foundation for
a State House event in the spring of 2007 (date to be announced). The
trainings will be held at the MCAE (Massachusetts Coalition for Adult
Education) 6 Beacon Street, Suite 415, Boston, MA 02108 for the purpose
of preparing adult learners to speak to elected officials about the
importance of adult literacy to our state and to our society.

The training dates are as follows...

* January 31, 2007 - Wednesday

* February 7, 2007 - Wednesday

* February 15, 2007 - Thursday

We encourage adult learners to attend the training with (2) or more
students from their program for support. It promises to be a fun and
informative day. The trainings take place across the street from the
State House. Refreshments will be served.
