[AAACE-NLA] Alert / Update: Roe-Hinojosa Dear Colleague Letter to Support Funding for Adult Education

Dear AAACE-NLA Colleagues:

House Adult Literacy Caucus Co-chairs Congressman Phil Roe (R-TN) and
Congressman Ruben Hinojosa (D-TX) have issued a bipartisan Dear Colleague
Letter in support of federal funding for adult education

ague2012.pdf>  for FY2013. NCL urges you to take a few minutes today to call
your U.S. Representative's office and ask him or her to sign the letter.

Congressman Rehberg, Chair of the Labor HHS-Education Appropriations
Subcommittee, has asked

e_Letter_with_Member_Submission_Instructions.pdf>  Members of the House of
Representatives to submit their funding priorities for FY2013. We would like
adult education to be a priority on every House Member's list. This sign-on
letter makes it easier for all House Members to prioritize adult education
funding for FY2013. But time's short, deadline for U.S. Representatives to
sign on is March 16, 2012.
