There is a lovely photograph of rocks spiraling into the distance at the
Spiritual Life Center's pathways program that might be adapted; a spiral,
winding pathway or a stylized labyrinth might also be possibilities.

There are two relevant graphics in the Shifting Gears report, on pages 16 and
20. Here in PA, we used the one on page 16, with modifications, for our best
practices publication, ABLE in Context. We had contacted the Wisconsin RISE
people about using their earlier graphic and they supplied the new one prior to
release of the new report. We elaborated on two areas, adding Postsecondary
Readiness under Bridge Instruction and Job Training after Occupational
Certificates. You can see this image on page 6 of ABLE in Context, Issue 4:

As an aside, recent PA-angled themes of ABLE in Context issues follow the "focus
areas" of One Step Forward's Guide to Adult Education for Work. Issue 4 is about
program design; the upcoming Issue 5 is about work-based curriculum and
instruction. ABLE in Context is aimed at keeping the field and partners informed
and is used for adult education professional development. Published only in PDF,
the first four issues are available at:
