Colleagues,

Is the adult learner information collected by your program, or state  
agency sponsoring public adult education, secure? Are there good  
security policies? Are these tightly and uniformly enforced? These  
questions are prompted by the loss by a Virginia Tech University  
employee of an unencrypted flash drive with personal data records of  
100,000 adult education students. See:
