Michigan still doesn't have a final figure but it looks like level funding at 
$24 Million for Adult Education. Michigan's fiscal years starts Oct 1 with 
school district's year starting July 1. With the Democratic Governor and House 
battling the Republican Senate over how to best meet the projected short fall 
of $1.8 Billion for 07-08. Cuts, reforms, tax increases or what combination 
thereof. It may be late September before anything is known for sure. Most Adult 
Educators would be pleased if we can hang on to the $24 Million recommended by 
the Governor.
