[AAACE-NLA] The Algebra Project/NOW/Bill Moyers

Friends:

Some of you may remember Bob Moses from the  '60's--he was active in 
civil rights in Mississippi.  For a number of years he has been running 
The Algebra Project,teaching high school  in Lanier, Mississippi, with 
the understanding that unless kids get good math training  job 
opportunities will be closed off.  He is passionate about this.

In Boston Channel 2--NOW will have a  piece on this tonight, I believe, 
at 8:00 p.m. and also at 9:00, part of "Bill Moyers' Journal."  There 
will also be repeats.
Bob Moses is a phenomenon.
