The National Council of State Directors of Adult Education is finalizing
a waiting list survey from all of the states for the 2005-06 program
year. This data should be available within a week of so. It will
probably be posted on the NCSDAE website.  Art Ellison

In Massachusetts, we currently have a wait list of approximately 22,000
students waiting for ABE services of which about 16,500 are waiting for
ESOL services. Our Department of Education posts the numbers daily on
their web site. 

Do any of you from other states know how many people are waiting for ABE
and ESOL services in your state? Is there a web site you can use to
easily get that information?
